Matteela Films is proud to announce the launch of the theatrical trailer and poster of their forthcoming film Zinda Bhaag. The film is scheduled to be released in August this year.
Zinda Bhaag is the first directorial venture of the award-winning filmmaking duo Meenu and Farjad and produced by Mazhar Zaidi. Zinda Bhaag promises to be a vlauable addition to the emerging cinema in Pakistan.
The film’s star cast includes South Asia’s legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah along with super model Amna Ilyas and introducing, Khurram Patras, Salman Ahmad Khan and Zohib. Renowned actor Manzar Sehbai, who won accolades for his role in Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol, also makes a guest appearance in the film sharing screen space with Naseeruddin Shah.
Zinda Bhaag offers a memorable bouquet of quintessentially Pakistani music. Directed by celebrated musician Sahir Ali Bagga, whose compositions are already a rage in Bollywood, Zinda Bhaag’s music boasts a sterling cast including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Arif Lohar, Abrarul Haq and Amanat Ali to name a few.
Scheduled to be released this August, Zinda Bhaag promises Pakistan’s ever-growing cinegoers a quality film with exceptional music which will enthral the audiences across the country. “Zinda Bhaag represents a new wave of Pakistani cinema. While drawing inspiration from the Pakistani cinema of the last many decades, it seeks to tell contemporary, relevant and relatable stories” say Meenu and Farjad, directors of the film.
“Zinda Bhaag is another significant step towards reviving the Pakistan film industry and bringing quality cinema to the local audiences who have already shown that they crave for good content,” says Mazhar Zaidi, producer of Zinda Bhaag.
On the occasion of the launch of the theatrical trailer, Zinda Bhaag’s poster will also be revealed. The poster has been hand-painted by S. Iqbal, Lollywood’s last remaining traditional poster artist. After several decades, Zinda Bhaag makes a return to the lost art form of Lollywood poster painting in an attempt to revive it.
