He has also played cricket series during this period, including the World Twenty20 Trophy in India, where West Indies defeated the England.

Andre Russell was a part of PSL franchise Islamabad United that was a winning champion in the first season. Now when the second season of PSL is soon to begin on 9th February Islamabad United has to look for a replacement for the player.

During the supplemental draft of PSL in which injured and unavailable players had to be replaced, Islamabad United considered the replacement of Andre Russell, but it didn’t make a decision. Due to charges against Andre Russel, a ban on him was already.  Islamabad United didn’t choose to for replacement as he was a key player for the franchise that has many other important players like Shane Watson.

It is a rumor on social media that English all-rounder Steve Finn would replace the Andre Russel. Still, the news is not confirmed.
