The Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar came up with his much-awaited presser on Thursday, 27th July 2017.
The press conference marked the huge announcement of his resignation from National Assembly (NA) and Cabinet.
“My heart is no longer attached to politics,” he stated.
The Federal Minister apprised of quitting the posts after Panama Case verdict no matter the decision be in the PML-N’s favor or against it.
The Panamagate Case’s hearing started again in Supreme Court (SC) as the final report of the case’s Joint Investigation Team (JIT) got submitted in the SC.
Further, Nisar clarified that he resisted taking the big decision today due to pressure from some friends.
He also declared this press conference as the most difficult one the Interior Minister ever hosted.
The Minister also shared his grievances of being ignored and not invited to party’s consultative meetings from past month and a half.
“I got excluded from PML-N’s advisory meetings from the past one month and a half, and I don’t know why” Chaudhry Nisar said at the presser.
Nisar also talked about his 33-year long association with the party and conspiracies in PMLN – the same party which is famous for sabotaging the merit by bestowing favorites.
However, in the end, he advised Nawaz Sharif to unite the party after Panama Case’s verdict and declared him as the “great and humble leader.”
