Dangal actress Zaira Wasim who played the role of young Geeta Phogat has just issued an apology on Facebook after her meeting with Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was met with a backlash.
In her apology on Monday via Facebook, she didn’t explicitly narrate what made her post such confession and ask for the pardon. She wrote that she was being projected as a role model for Kashmiri youth, but she didn’t want anyone to follow her steps as there were better role models to follow. Zaira wrote, “I want to apologize to all those I’ve unintentionally hurt… I understand their sentiments, especially considering what has happened [in Kashmir] over the past six months.”
Zaira Wasim who got fame after her brilliant acting of a wrestler in the Amir Khan’s superhit film Dangal had visited the CM of Jammu and Kashmir after she praised the lady. Still, the matter is not clear why the 16-year-old girl who is just a novice actress needed to apologize after a meeting that had nothing to do with politics.
Perhaps, by saying that She is only 16 and her actions should be taking accordingly, Zaira meant that no one should take any wrong message from her meeting with the Chief Minister of Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti.
I’ve a problem with @MehboobaMufti trying to userp other peoples success to cover up her own failures but why punish/troll people she meets?

Although Zaira has expressed that she didn’t wish to start and argument but it raises questions why he needed to ask for an apology on social media.
Zaira would also appear in Amir Khan’s film Secret Superstar that would most probably release in August of this year.
