Here is why Dangal could not make it to Pakistani cinema screens?

Dangal Movie

Amir Khan’s Dangal that is on its way to becoming the blockbuster of this year couldn’t make it to the cinema screens in Pakistan, despite huge fan following.

After the Pakistani cinema owners had lifted the ban on Bollywood movies, Amir Khans’s fans wished they would be able to watch the Dangal too, but it couldn’t become possible.

Geo films that were about to gain the rights to release in Pakistan backed off as the summary for approval was not moved timely before the prime minister. The one week delayed release of the film in Pakistan could have cost the company a loss of PKR 160 million, 8 million for license and 8 million for distributing to the cinema’s circuit in Pakistan.

The reason is that now the movie had already made to cinema screens in India, U.A.E, and Canada, viewers can find many alternative platforms to watch the film rather than looking for theaters.

Dangal that is in fierce competition with Salman Khan’s blockbuster Sultan is receiving appreciation from all over the world due to its unique story plot and brilliant performance.

Even Salman Khan couldn’t resist praising Amir Khan for his outstanding performance and professional perfectionism. The real story depicting a wrestler father who coached his daughters for the tough game, not only manifested the women empowerment but a produced a film much near to reality.
