Young Indian student GurMaher Kaur who is facing criticism for advocating peace and standing up against the violence on campuses has received a very welcoming response from Pakistan a man.
A Pakistani citizen Fayaz Khan who lives in Australia has uploaded a Youtube video to show solidarity with GurMehar Kaur.
He said, I have seen war and death carefully in my Hometown Swat, and Luckily didn’t lose any family member, but I see thousands of GurMehar Kaur.”
While giving the message of peace, Fayaz Khan said, “I can not give you love of a Dad, but you surely got a brother from Dushman Desh.”
He proposed for a new and unique sister-brother relationship that would turn India and Pakistan into siblings.
“Fayaz said in his video, Let it be a unique worldwide relationship where the brother is a Muslim and sister is a Sikh. Letus change the word Dushman Dash to sibling Desh.”
Fayaz also told how his perception about Indians changed while being in Australia.
“When I came to Australia I was looking at Indians the way I was told. Soon, We were sharing Food and classroom chairs with each other like close friends.”
“I want to visit India without Visa Restrictions. Let’s fight to end these restrictions through better understanding and education. Let’s fight for the peace to save thousands of others suffering like GurMehar Kaur.” he added further.
GurMehar Kaur who even faced rape threats for speaking against the violence culture in campuses practiced by Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) the student wing of ruling party BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party).
Celebrities like Virender Sehwag and Randeep Hooda had also mocked GurMehar for advocating the peace with Pakistan against war despite her father was also a victim of Kargil war.
