Till and after the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, scenes of Fawad Khan in the movie have remained more controversial than any other thing. A new video has emerged on the scene suggesting that Fawad Khan’s part was axed in the film.
Recent series of Indo-Pak clash that caused the ban on the media on one side and bans on actors, on the other hand, created problems for entertainment industry on both the sides. The right-wing radical parties in India like MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) pressurized producers who cast the Pakistani actors to release movies without those actors.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil by Karan Johar that features Pakistani actor Salman Ahmad saw more hurdles as MNS demanded to deposit five crores first. Finally, the film made it to cinema houses without any alteration of the story as claimed by Karan Johar who denied any deletion of Fawad Khan’s scenes from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
During an interview with a media outlet, Karan said, “When people say that I find it so silly. His exact screen time is nine minutes, but even if he were there for 15, the protests would not have been any less. [Laughs] I didn’t cut his role. This is all he was meant to do in the film.”
After facing such pressure from the MNS Karan Johar had also announced that he wouldn’t cast any other Pakistani actor in future.
Now, the new video has popped up showing the scenes of Fawad Khan that were not present in the actual movie. The video reveals that Fawad could have a more enhanced role to play in the film. The particular video also shows the scenes of other actors that might have supported the alteration in story plot (if there was any such).
