Famous Britain pop singer George Michael passed away at the age of 53. The man gained prominence with the band Wham and gave hits to the music industry selling million of copies.
His publicist confirmed his death in a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period,”
The exact cause of the singer’s death is not confirmed yet; police said, “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious. A post-mortem will be undertaken in due course.”
The man gave hits like, Wake me Up Before You Go Go, Last Christmas and Careless Whisper and Freedom during a timespan of his career spread over three decades.
The singer also made headlines for bizarre incidents during his ascetic period; he was making a documentary to show what happened to him. Shahid Khan, known as Naughty Boy was working with him for the next album.
The fans of George Michael took to Twitter to express their grief sentiments on this tragedy.
