ICC (International Cricket Council) has cleared the bowler Muhammad Hafeez’s bowling action. The Pakistani cricket’s all-rounder would be soon back in the ground for international matches.
The player was out from the team due to the ban on his bowling actions. ICC had banned the cricketer from bowling as his arm angle was greater than 15, which is considered to be illegal by International cricket body.
Now when Hafeez has cleared his action, he would be able to bowl in all forms of cricket including the Twenty Twenty, Test cricket and One-day cricket. During his ban period, he was playing his first class cricket. The leg-spinner bowler would be very useful addition to the team and act as the best support for the Yasir Shah who is already playing an important role in for the national cricket team.
Selectors were in doubt on the selection of Muhammad Hafeez in the national squad not only because of complication in his bowling action. The low run rate in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy cricket tournament had put the Hafeez’s position as a batsman in jeopardy. Now, Hafeez who is also famous as professor among his teammates would make a comeback. There are chances the selection committee may consider Hafeez’s name for coming test series against the Australia.
