India crying to protect terrorist Kulbhushan Jadhav

Pakistan gave a befitting response to India in ICJ against an application to the UN’s top court to stop planned execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav. Pakistan argued that the ICJ has no jurisdiction to hear the Indian case. Pakistani lawyer Khawar Qureshi said that the ICJ is not a criminal court and cannot decide matters of National Security. He further appealed the court to dismiss the case.

Dr. Faisal from Pakistan mentioned that Kulbhushan had confessed his involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan. India had to face more humiliation when Dr. Faisal showed the image of Kulbhushan’s passport in front of the ICJ panel.
Harish Salve from Indian legal team focused his arguments on Pakistan’s denial of counsel access to Kulbhushan Jadhav. Deepak Mittal from India’s ministry of external affairs argued that Kulbhushan is an Indian citizen and that Pakistan has fabricated charges against him. He further claimed that Pakistan has failed to address the Indian reservations against the arrested Indian citizen.

The team of lawyers from Pakistan has also produced video in which the accused has confessed his nefarious activates against Pakistan.

After hearing the arguments from both sides, ICJ declared that it would deliver its orders soon in a public meeting. The highest court president Ronny Abraham said that the tribunal would publically give its decision regarding the “stay on execution.” At the same time, it is important to remember that Kulbhushan Jadhav a serving Indian army officer had been arrested by Pakistani agencies from the Mashkel area of Baluchistan on March 3, 2016.

Kulbhushan had confessed all allegations leveled against him. After the arrest of Indian spy confrontations between the two countries had escalated, and there has been a war of words even among the general public on social media.
