Indian films would soon start screening on Pakistani cinemas after the four months ban followed by the tense situation of India-Pakistan relation.
Prime Minister Secretariat is more likely to allow screening of Indian movies in Pakistan for which a notice would soon be issued soon, Tribune reported.
The news has come in the time when Mahira Khan’s debut Bollywood film Raees, starring Shahrukh Khan in leading role, is releasing in India. Pakistanis also wish to enjoy this movie on the big screen as they want to watch an on-screen couple of Mahira and Shahrukh that is making all the romantic movie songs to earn record views.
There are chances that Shahrukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kabil, both Indian films would make their way to Pakistani cinema screens in this week, so most probably weekend would bring a treat for the viewers.
Mahira Khan is going to be the best part of Raees not only for Pakistani fans but also Indians who adored the talent and beauty of the actress in dramas that were also screened in India. Fans have appreciated the chemistry of Pakistani beauty with King Khan in the songs like Zaalima and Udi Udi Jaye, that amassed million of views and likes from the film lovers.
In a span of the last few months, many Indian movies like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Dear Zindagi and now Raees and upcoming film Hindu Medium had Pakistani artists in them who were barred from movie promotion due to the ban imposed by right-wing parties in India. As a result of this, cinemas in Pakistan also banned the Indian films. Now, it seems that condition is turning to the normal as Indian films are again making their way in while two artists have recently gotten a visa to complete the shooting of their film across the border.
