PSL 2017 champion Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Darren Sammy is expected to embrace Islam as he is showing interest in the religion.
Zalmi owner Javed Afridi who is a close friend of West Indies batsman Darren Sammy revealed before media that Darren Sammy studies Quran and he has got much knowledge about Islam, he may embrace the religion in future.
He further requested the public to pray for Sammy to accept Islam.
Darren Sammy who has emerged as the real hero and entertainer of the PSL 2017 is one of the nine foreign players who came to Lahore for playing the much-awaited final of the tournament.
His love for Pakistan, taking a selfie with Pakistan army soldiers, dancing in the closing ceremony, speaking Pashto and playing pranks with funny challenges to his teams made this man to win over the hearts of Pakistanis.

PZ owner had also met the President BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Anurag Thakur and shared his desire to conduct matches between IPL and PSL.
