Lahore Qalandar and Peshawar Zalmi; setting eyes on T20 Global League

T20 Global League

The owners of the two star teams of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Lahore Qalander and Peshawar zalmi, are ready to go worldwide by owning two franchises in the T20 Global League which is to be held in South Africa and is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The T20 Global League is the cricket tournament to be held in South Africa featuring 8 privately owned teams. The Brainchild of Cricket South Africa (CSA), the T20 Global League, is already the talk of the town and has generated much interest, globally. CSA received more than 150 expressions of interest in its team ownership process from local as well as international parties

In the Franchise annoucement ceremony, it was revealed that Muhammad Javaid Afridi now owns the Benoni Franchise which he named  “Zalmi Benoni” and Rana Fawad, the owner of Lahore Qalandars, owns the Durban Franchise who’s name is not revealed yet.

This is yet another milestone for the cricket of Pakistan and a great news for the fan of the game. We wish all the luck to the both teams and hope to see some great cricket from their side in T20 Global League
