Why Maybelline has hired a male model for its make-up campaign

The act of Maybelline to choose a male model for endorsing its make-up products seems to be an outcome the feminists want to achieve.

Maybelline, the world famous cosmetics brand has just announced a Youtube Star Manny Gutierrez to be its first ever brand ambassador. Although, the man is a makeup artist and enjoys a huge fan following on the platform but still choosing a male model is to just break the beauty myth.

Gutirezze found himself very lucky to be the brand ambassador of such known brand, he happily posted about this on Instagram.

While announcing the news, Gutirezze wrote, “2017 you are off to an amazing start OMG! So excited to finally announce that I am part of the Maybelline Big Shot Mascara campaign! Honestly, I couldn’t be more honored thrilled! Thank you to Maybelline for taking a chance on me! I look forward to working together so much more.”

Well, any social change is accompanied by a shift in cultural dynamics and fashion is a very important item of culture. Even in Pakistan, many unique changes were observed on the fashion scene. Well, we are not sure whether Maybelline hired a male model only because he was popular as a makeup artist or they just wanted to launch male-oriented beauty products that ar usually kept for females.
