About 500m (1,640ft) long bridge has been built up as it replaced the old one that got damaged by falling rocks.

“The cables of the newly opened bridge, weigh about eight tonnes with a system to prevent it from swinging,” Zermatt Tourist Board said according to BBC News.

The bridge connects the towns of Grächen and Zermatt and offers fantastic and mesmerizing views of the Matterhorn mountain.

Besides Switzerland, South Africa is also one of those states which possess most beautiful places that make the country a must visit one.

However, everyone can visit the Swiss bridge, but some do have a fear of height so they can cross the bridge while closing the eyes or not to look down.

Someone walking behind them can also provide such people help to overcome the height phobia.
