First Pakistan film festival in New York

The first Pakistan Film Festival to be held in New York would feature four Pakistani movies by the ARY Films which is the country’s leading film distribution and production house.

The four films would include the two most recent movies Dobara Phir Se and Lahore Se Aage that would premier in New York. Mahira Khan starer, Ho Man Jahan and Oscar award winner Sharmin Obaid Chinoy’s super hit, animated movie 3 Bahadur would also be showcased at the festival.

The first Pakistan film festival in New York is also significant in this regard that it would have very excellent movies to showcase to the audience in America. Such exhibition of new Pakistani cinema creations would expose the uniqueness of Pakistani talents and also boost the Pakistan’s film industry.

Expressing his sentiments about the inclusion of his media house’s films Founder and President of ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal, said, “It is proud moment for ARY Films to be a part of this film festival, and showcasing some of the brilliant body of work we have brought forth under our umbrella to this prestigious audience.”

While elaborating on the ARY’s contribution to Pakistan’s film Industry and first Pakistani Film Festival, CEO ARY Jerjees Ceja said,

“The ARY Films team is extremely proud of the work we have been doing under the Made in Pakistan umbrella in the last five years for the revival of cinema, and we hope to keep upping the benchmark for the industry as we enter 2017.”

Lahore se Aagey Movie Pakistan Film Festival

The festival would be a worth watch of Pakistani New Yorkers who would have a chance to glimpse the galaxy of Pakistani stars that would be present there. Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar, Shehreyar Munawar, Asim Raza, Sanam Saeed, Yasir Hussain, Adeel Hussain, Tooba Siddiqi and Wajahat Rauf would be there to grace the occasion.
