On May 18, 2017, there were seven children brought to Lahore from Karachi with the courtesy of Pakistan International Airways and Make a Wish Foundation for fulfilling their dreams.
There are several children across Pakistan who are diagnosed with life-threatening medical diseases every year and Make a Wish Foundation in Pakistan ensures that they never lose hope, therefore, they try to make their lives as happy as possible by granting them one wish each. Along with their partner, PIA, they once again made an to put a smile on children’s face by flying seven such kids to Lahore where they were overwhelmingly welcomed by PIA’s station manager and other officers.
Although PIA has recently had some lows, they have been trying to enhance their services by introducing entertainment to passengers like offering wifi on the flight. This was a similar effort as a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
One child, named Basit Ali, had a wish to become a pilot, and PIA honored him by dressing him in a pilot’s uniform during his flight. You can see him expressing his feelings as being a pilot in the following
Another consolidated wish these children made was to see Lahore in order to visit the entertaining places here. Hence, PIA is taking these children out for a day to different places like the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore fort, etc. In the following video, these children are being seated in a bus to start their entertaining journey:
