PSL 2017 teams replace injured players

PSL 2017 supplementary draft took place to replace the players who wouldn’t be available for the event going to start on February, 9.

Major replacements occurred in Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, and Peshawar Zalmi.

The major change in Lahore Qalandar was the England’s opening batsman Jason Roy who replaced the Dwayne Bravo as he was unfit due to an injury. Roy would be available to franchise till 20th February.

Another pick by Lahore Qalandar was the relatively unknown all-rounder spin bowler Chris Green of Australia who has also played the BPL earlier. The cricketer who was highly rated by the Brandon Mccullum has taken the place of Shan Tait who was injured. Lahore Qalandar replaced the Anton Devcich by the James Franklin of New Zealand.

Quetta Gladiators have picked up the Moin Ali for Carlos Braithwaite as he was unavailable due to his domestic cricket games that were necessary for him to play in order to become eligible for the national team of his country.

In Peshawar Zalmi, Afghani cricketer Muhammad Nabi has been replaced by the Rilee Rossouw of South Africa, after former was not available due to another cricket series. West Indian Batsman, Andre Fletcher is another new addition making a replacement for the Shahzad Muhammad.

Well, the most surprising addition for Zalmi is Tillakaratne Dilshan as theSaqib-ul-Hassan wouldn’t be available to play.

Although Islamabad United and Karachi Kings didn’t make new picks and replacement for PSL 2017 but still later had an issue with Andre Russell of the West Indies who is more likely to face a ban if he found guilty of a violation, inquiry for which is underway.
