Here comes another feast for the cricket fans after PSL 2017 as Pakistan’s tour to West Indies begins. Corporates are playing their parts by sponsoring the lively event; as Q-Mobile has become the title sponsor of this upcoming cricket tournament
In a press event Zeeshan Qureshi Group Director, Q Mobile unveiled his partnership with PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) to sponsor the whole Pak-WI cricket series in Mar-April 2017. The smartphone company would continue to serve as title sponsor for next two years.
He said, “Pakistan is a cricket loving nation, the passion of this game united the people. Q-Mobile that was also the partner of PSL 2017 has decided to invest aggressively in this platform by sponsoring cricket events.”
Apart from Q-mobile Brighto paints would present the event while PEL, J. and Invertex Solar Power would also sponsor the event.
Although Pak-WI series is not taking place on home ground, still Pakistani brands are showing interest sponsor the event even if it is going to held in the Islands of Carribean.
This is not for the first time when companies have sponsored a series that is taking place away from the home grounds. Earlier, tournaments in New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and other countries have also seen representations from Pakistani companies but this time the response is massive, and credit goes to the success of PSL 2017 after which cricket has started echoing in length and breadth of the country with more zeal.
People are much passionate about the cricket and being a sponsor of such game means to convey a message to a strong target market apart from contributing financially. So it doesn’t matter much where is the tournament’s venue, as long as there is Pakistani interest brands would never face any lack of audience to market their products.
