Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has asked IPL (Indian Premier League) to also include the Pakistani cricketers in the league for witnessing the great match. IPL 2017 has kickstarted from today.
In a Twitter post, he said, IPL has got world players in it, cricketers from Afghanistan also play in the tournament then Pakistani players should also be playing.
IPL. You got world players. Afghanistan makes debut. My plea is please consider Pakistani players.Phir match hoga! Hum bade log hain. Please!

Rishi Kapoor is very bold when it comes to explaining his stance on any matter. Bollywood heartthrob made headlines for slamming the haters who criticized Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan for the name of their newborn baby Taimur Ali Khan.
Pakistani cricketers played in IPL, in 2008 but later things changed. It seems difficult that cricketers from both sides would play in the leagues of each other’s country as they have not been able to come face to face for a usual cricketing event from last nine years. Now when the right wing parties in India are imposing bans on Pakistani artists, there is no way they would let the players from across the border unite.
In Pakistan, there are adamant voices who want IPL Vs PSL matches on some neutral venue. Earlier, Javed Afridi, owner of Peshawar Zalmi had met Anurag Thakur, President BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India and discussed with him the possibility of any such tournament.
