Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairman Sheikh Rashid has joined the gym to ensure his physical fitness. Sheikh Rashid acceded to the gym on Friday and took light exercise. Some surprised and curious citizens assembled to see Rashid running on track.
Once again proving that politics is flowing in his blood, the AML chief mixed with the citizens after one hour work out in the gym, residents started taking selfies with him and chanted slogans in support of him.
“I am preparing myself for waging struggle against the rulers. I have started exercise to run fast regularly so that I make the rulers tired by making them run in the streets,” Rashid said.
‘Rawalpindi’s James Bond’ made a dramatic arrival at Committee Chowk on a motorcycle during last week’s protest. He rushed through streets and roads to overcome police barriers and evade arrest.
Some politicians these days seem more focused on their health after former cricketer turned politician Imran Khan demonstrated his strength to carry out the protest against the government by doing 50 push-ups in front of his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) workers. And it’s a good sign.
As a nation we should be fit and healthy, all credit goes to Imran Khan who has made others follow his footsteps. People follow the celebrities and politicians, and it’s nice that they have shown others to be fit. In Pakistan, mostly male and females put on extreme weights after 40, and it eventually leads to cardiac and other problems.
obesity is the mother of all diseases.
Sheikh Rasheed proved that he still want to be active in politics and he has no mood to retire. While running in adjacent streets of Lal Haveli, maybe he had thought that his belly fat is causing him problems. So Sheikh wants to be a true James Bond. Now one thing is, to be a true James Bond, he needs to acquire a sound designer, as James Bond series is all about style.
