After the US President Donald Trump called the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday, not only Pakistani media but also international media embraced the news with open arms. Western media covered it as Trump’s U-turns on policy after he elected as president, India media just mocked the Pakistani media’s way of covering the news, while Pakistani media ran the story as if it was a Trump-Nawaz relationship.
In his phone call to Nawaz Sharif, Trump praised the Pakistani PM as, “You are a terrific guy. You are doing amazing work which is visible in every way,”.
Amidst all these media reactions the worth noticing came on behalf of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, who remarked that it didn’t matter how much Trump likes the Nawaz and to which direction their friendship may turn, it wouldn’t affect the Panamagate case, even a letter from Trump wouldn’t save the Nawaz Sharif from accountability.
Good news is Trump spoke to Nawaz Sharif. Bad news for NS is this won’t save him from Panama scandal – not even if a Trump letter arrived!

Apart from Imran Khan’s response, certain media persons labelled the Trump as a Patwari as he praised Nawaz Sharif for his governance in Pakistan.
