Donald Trump Calls PM Nawaz Sharif

The Republican will visit the White House today as protesters in major cities across the US vent their fury over the billionaire’s victory. In Pakistan, the same thing happened so many times that I have lost the counting. Violence is uprising. Will the US resort to sit-in politics soon?

Violent demonstrations are taking place in major cities across the US in protests over Donald Trump’s shock US election win. Protesters have taken to the street in major cities including New York, Los Angeles and Washington. There have been violent clashes with police with some protesters even hanging effigies of Trump.

Thousands of protesters blocked traffic in downtown Portland, Ore., Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia, with some torching flags. Violence is on high. Demonstrators in Oakland smashed windows at five businesses and ignited trash containers and tires.

The irony of the riots is that many pro-Clinton media outlets previously circulated the talking point that Trump supporters would be likely to stage violent unrest after they lost the election.

Twitter was also inundated with death threats, with leftists either hoping for or personally expressing their willingness to carry out Trump’s assassination.
