Corruption accusations against Nawaz Sharif

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has announced today to begin the hearing on the Panamagate petitions filed against the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his family members, and others on November 1.

However, the apex court, a day earlier, had adjourned the Panama Papers Leaks Case for two weeks.

The changing dates of the hearing, The court and government are leaving little to the imagination. Setting the day of hearing of the case that PTI has been demanding to get heard just one day before the announced date of the PTI-lead-sit-in that aims to block the capital city and federal procedures; is it just another stalling tactic adopted by the government or the legal system is actually waking up against the politicians?

2 which happened to fall on the same day as the day of the sit-in. But as the two leaders were allowed to represent themselves through counsels the PTI chairman would not have any difficulty appearing before the workers that he had called upon.

ECP’s summon linked to Dharna?

The chairman PTI has been heard talking about Panama papers more often than not, so much so that recently he has called upon the PTI workers to not let the government bury the issue and to keep the public memory of Panama fresh.

Apart from PTI, Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Barrister Zafarullah Khan of Watan Party have also filed petitions in the same case.
