Sometimes you feel the urge to have something incredibly yummy at home, something chocolatey and sweet.
There are times when you can’t go out, or you don’t find a friend to accompany you to the nearest cafe. What would you do? Can you try something yourself at home? It could be brownies, but it might take nearly 40 minutes to bake one, and by that time you’d probably lose the craving of your sweet tooth.
Don’t worry; I have a perfect solution for you. Why don’t you master making a mug cake at home which will hardly take 5 minutes? Do you think that’s impossible? Well, here’s a challenge for you. Try it, and then you come back and tell us if it took more than 5 minutes!
Here’s what you will need
- One egg
- 4 tablespoons of crushed sugar
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- A tiny pinch of baking powder
- How to make it
First, pour in an egg in a mug, add the crushed sugar in it. Make sure you grind the sugar well before you add it to your mixture, or else you’ll eat the granules of sugar.
Then simply add the oil and mix everything. After you do it well, its time for the dry ingredients. Add the flour, add cocoa powder and a tiny bit of baking powder. Mix everything properly, preferably with a fork. Put the mug in the microwave and heat for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Don’t accidentally overdo it.
Well, there you have it. A wonderful, soft, and yummy mug cake for one person in under 5 minutes. Try it with ice cream, and your late-night sweet cravings will all be satisfied.
